Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the extent of collaboration between the authors of the articles published in the Journal of Pests and Plant diseases from 2001 to 2015.Methodology: This research is an applied research methodology that is carried out using library methods and co-authorship analysis. The statistical population consists of 354 articles published in the years 2001 to 2015.Results: The results of the research show that out of a total of 354 articles, 94% are in Persian and 6% in English, and 82.6% of the authors are male and 17.4% are female. Among the contributing countries in the publication of articles, 96% of authors were from Iran and 4% from other countries, with Germany, Russia, France and Finland, with the largest number of authors. Among the institutes and scientific centers, the Plant Protection Research Institute with 301 articles (27.3%), and Tarbiat Modares University with 135 and Islamic Azad University with 111 articles has the largest participation in the production of articles. Conclusion: Most writers tend to perform group work and produce scientific or collaborative scientific works, in which 89% of the articles were written as co-authorship. The highest frequency of co-authorship articles is 95 titles (26.8%) to articles with two authors. In this study, the co-authorship coefficient of the authors was calculated and the mean of that was 588%, which indicates the high degree of co-operation between the authors of the authors.

Purpose: The main purpose of the study was analyzing of scientific outputs of researchers in AREEO affiliated institutes in Scopus database using scientometrics indices.Methodology: Survey and scientometic analysis methods are used to conduct the research. 6361 scientific research reports which are published by AREEO scientists in Scopus database are examined.Findings: The findings show that 6361 records have been totally published by AREEO researchers from 1961 to 2015. Totally, 39416 citations have been done to these documents representing an average of 6.19 citations per document. After deduction of self-citations, the figure reaches to 31868 citations. In terms of subject categories, most articles are in the field of agriculture and life sciences with 4298 cases (67.57 percent). In addition, most of documents are research paper with 5720 cases (89.92 percent). Findings also show that most of the researchers’ papers (4.84 percent) have been published in the journal of Acta Horticulturae. The survey of co-authorship pattern also revealed that Islamic Azad University has been main co-author institution by collaboration in writing 1676 articles (26.35 percent). Conclusion: Based on the results, the rate of paper publication has been increased from 2005 onwards and then has been decreased from 2011. According to the H-Index, Fatemeh Sefidkon from Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands with H-Index number of 25 has placed higher than other researchers. Based on the same index, Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands has been the most active institute by H index of 40 in scientific productions.

Goal:The purpose of this article is to introduce the term "Agricultural Informatization " and its importance and application in agricultural development, focusing on China.Metodology: It, with a review approach, seeks to provide an overview of agricultural informatization and agricultural information dissemination models along with the changes that have been made in this area in China.Finfings: The results revealed that there are three mechanisms of agricultural information services that rely on government actions, market flows, and local community initiatives. The analysis of statistics on the owners of the right to reproduce the agricultural software packages indicates that agricultural research institutes and universities are the main developers of agricultural software and play a leading role in their research and development. Conclusion: Accurate and informative knowledge-based agricultural techniques are the main drivers of sustainable agricultural production, whose potential contribution to agriculture can be addressed through lower costs, increased efficiency and improved productivity. Rapid changes in the field of information and communication technology have led to the development and diffusion of electronic services in the agricultural sector. Therefore, the development of national strategies for the implementation and use of information and communication technology in agriculture should be on the agenda of governments.
